Assistant Branch Manager

Provide support to Branch Manager to ensure optimal operation of branch by: monitoring and ensuring appropriate controls of day-to-day branch administration and operations; coordinating assigned branch administration and operational activities, including audits and scheduling; assisting with the technical training of Financial Services Manager?s 1/2/3 and Customer Service Representative?s; providing on-the-job assistance to inexperienced Customer Service Representative?s and Financial Services Manager?s 1/2/3; resolving, and if required escalating, day-to-day customer and employee sales and service problems and issues. Recognize and respond to potential business opportunities through application of appropriate identification, selling, and/or referral techniques. Act as Branch Compliance Officer if assigned by Branch Manager.
Must be RISR qualified and will require Branch Compliance Officer qualification.
May require personal lending qualifications without limits OR personal lending qualifications with discretionary limits, depending on branch and market needs.
Good knowledge and understanding of Personal Banking products and solid knowledge of branch operations.
Preferred education: Post Secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent.
