Job Description:

·
Liaise
with Corporate finance teams and other divisional finance managers to ensure
consistency of reporting across divisions and ensure appropriate sharing and
understanding of results, forecasts and budgets.

·
Provide billing to third party and
resolve operational and financial issues

·
Resolve
daily and ad hoc issues

·
Work with airline partner to
develop billing and reporting expertise that will comply with agreement(s)

·
Reviews
actual performance against budgeted and forecasted performance and prepares
reports explaining variances.

·
Provides
breakdown of revenue based on segment, customers, divisional gains/losses and
reviews sales proposals and makes recommendations based on margin analysis.

·
Develops
monthly/annual forecasts for planning and analyzing trends and sales, general
business conditions and other areas. Prepares economic and revenue forecasts
and provides for their periodic adjustment.

·
Provide quarterly reconciliations to third party partnership and vendor as
per agreements

·
Review capacity and negotiate potential selling of
excess network to third party.

·
Interprets
operating results (revenues and expenses) as they affect the financial aspects
of the division and makes specific recommendations which will result in cost
reduction and profit improvement.

·
Develops
and/or improves methods of calculation and controlling costs, based on
information from financials, costing system and Profs System.

·
Coordinates
annual budgeting process for the division (in conjunction with the corporate
finance teams) and assists divisional management team in the preparation of
department operating budgets.

·
Understand agreements with related
parties with the intent of ensuring risks are mitigated or reduced.

·
Involved
in Project/Business case development and provides recommendations on how
benefits will be tracked.

·
Other
analysis and duties as required.



Qualification:



·
Previous
experience working in a fast paced team environment which complements
initiative and desire to strive for excellence.

·
Works
well independently within an unstructured environment

·
Independent,
ability to effectively collaborate in teamwork within the department and multi
functional teams

·
Cost
accounting skills and the ability to multi-task will be critical in order to
reach target deadlines in a dynamic environment

·
Excellent
project management, organizational and time management abilities

·
Strong
communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to communicate financial results effectively

·
Attention
to detail, analytical, ability to critically assess results and recommendations

·
Bachelor's
Degree in accounting/finance, business
or aviation

·
Professional
Accounting Designation CMA, CGA, MBA preferred

·
Aviation
related background an asset

·
Travel
required
