Bilingual (French/English) Customer Service Representative

The overall operations of the company are growing and the need for bilingual talent has increased. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic bilingual customer service representative with professional phone manners who will be dealing with major key accounts such as national chains and buying groups.



Key Role Responsibilities / Activities / Deliverables:

* Take incoming calls and respond to emails from major key accounts with regards to customer inquiries on product availability, order status, order amounts, complaints, delivery schedules and other general inquiries
* Taking orders and do the appropriate follow ups for management and tracking
* Provide special attention/dedication to large accounts such as chains and buying groups.
* Maintain a manual back order log for large accounts and ensure orders are processed once the items are available
* Perform other duties as assigned including processing returns, maintaining numerical order & invoice filing systems, ad hoc report preparation and assisting with claims & coupon redemptions


Required Experience / Competencies / Education:

* Oral and written skills in English & French are mandatory and will be tested
* Two (2) years in an order management role with exposure to warehousing and/or distribution services
* Previous experience with automated order entry systems such as SAP and/or AS/400
* Demonstrated communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to promote goodwill and project a professional, positive public image


Highly Desired Experience / Competencies / Education:

* Post secondary education is a major asset
* Advanced knowledge of SAP is a major asset
* Ability to work in a very fast paced environment with proven organizational and time management abilities
* Positive attitude and very professional phone manners, able to handle major accounts
